The challenge

Hunchly needed a refresh at a moment when time and attention were stretched thin. Competing priorities made it hard to give a full brand and redesign the runway that work usually takes, and years of technical debt had left the existing site cumbersome to manage.

So the brief was speed without cutting corners: a fast refresh rather than a year-long rebrand. And with paid media still untapped, there was a clear growth channel sitting right there, ready to test.

The approach

We recommended a deliberately simplified process to avoid the long timelines a full brand and redesign usually carry. A story framework gave us a fast way to sharpen the narrative and bring clarity to every touchpoint.

Hunchly is a Sapper Labs product, so we built on the mission and positioning work we had already done for the Sapper master brand and carried that through-line into Hunchly's new identity. From there we rebuilt the site on React and Next.js on Vercel, added HubSpot to capture enterprise leads, and launched a first paid-media pilot to see what growth looked like.

Speed is not the enemy of good strategy. The trick is knowing what to reuse and what to rebuild.

Where it landed

In two months, Hunchly had a modern site, a clearer story tied to the Sapper master brand, and the infrastructure to capture and manage demand.

Just as important, they had a first read on paid media as a growth channel they had never tried. It was proof that a lean, focused process can move a brand forward without stalling the business while you do it.
